Celebrating National Nonprofit Day
The United States celebrates National Nonprofit Day on August 17 each year to recognize and honor the positive impact nonprofits have on communities and causes around the world. At Hope Services, our mission is to improve the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities and mental health needs and we would not be able to serve 3,200 clients and their families in eight Bay Area counties if it weren’t for the support of donors, volunteers, and staff.
It is a privilege to serve as CEO of a 69-year-old nonprofit, Hope Services. I am thankful to our staff, programs, and volunteers who work endlessly to serve over 3,200 participants and their families, from infants through seniors, who reside in the eight counties we serve: Santa Clara, San Benito, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, Monterey, Alameda, Marin, and San Francisco. Today and every day, please join us in celebrating the phenomenal work of those in the trenches who are impacting the lives of those with developmental disabilities and mental health needs! Thanks for all you do to support our work!
