In October, Americans observe National Disability Employment Awareness Month by paying tribute to the accomplishments of individuals with disabilities whose work helps keep the nation’s economy strong

This month, we are proud to spotlight Elise, a member of Hope’s Community Employment Program, which assists participants in achieving their career goals by helping to place them in a job and providing personalized support. Through the program, Elise works at a café on Microsoft’s campus. During the pandemic, Elise was saddened to find out she was furloughed and could not go back to work.
