The @Safeway Foundation recently awarded Hope Services a $30,000 grant through funds raised during Safeway’s 2021 ‘Boost their Ability’ campaign. Throughout August, Safeway stores collected donations at check stands in their Northern California Division. Safeway’s ‘Boost their Ability’ campaign supports programs and services designed to inspire and enable people living with disabilities.

Hope will utilize funds awarded to increase access to employment training and opportunities for up to 250 adults with developmental disabilities throughout its service area. This grant will significantly help Hope to achieve its goal of enabling every participant in its Community Employment Services program who desires to work in her or his community to secure and sustain long-term, competitive integrated employment in a community setting, with minimal ongoing support.
