Hope Services is thrilled to announce that we have received a generous $25,000 grant from the El Camino Health Community Benefit Grant Program. This exciting opportunity will support our ongoing efforts to provide crucial employment training and job placement services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental health needs in the South Bay Area.

We are incredibly grateful to El Camino Health for recognizing the vital connection between employment opportunities and better health outcomes. Employment has the power to transform lives, and for the individuals we serve, having the chance to work can lead to improved self-esteem, increased independence, and overall better health and well-being. At Hope Services, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to contribute to their community through meaningful work, and this grant will help make that vision a reality for many of our clients.

How the Grant Will Make a Difference

With the support of El Camino Health, Hope Services will be able to work with 350 clients to provide 8,750 hours of job training through our Employment, Media & Community Connections (EMCC) and Community Employment programs. These programs focus on providing essential skills training, career development, and job placement assistance, ensuring that individuals with disabilities have access to the resources they need to thrive in the workforce.

The EMCC and Community Employment programs are designed to offer personalized, hands-on training that prepares clients for real-world employment opportunities. Our dedicated team of professionals will provide job readiness skills, workplace etiquette, resume building, and interview preparation—all tailored to the unique needs of each individual. By working with local employers, we aim to create long-lasting partnerships that open doors for Hope Services clients to secure sustainable, meaningful employment.
